Matching with energy meters

The right sensor depends on the EMT input.

Every Chronos energy meter comes in two input versions, shown by the letter in the order code.

CTs with current secondary

For installations with CTs already in place, or for currents up to 600 A with ring-type or split-core CTs.

Voltage-output CTs and Rogowski coils

Low-voltage output, safer to wire. The EMT's built-in integrator accepts Rogowski coils directly.

Hall-effect sensor

Also measures DC currents: drives, welders, batteries, UPS. Requires a 24 V supply; does not connect to EMT meters.

KCT series

They open and close around the cable: ideal for retrofits without shutting down the installation. 16, 24 and 36 mm apertures, 333 mV or 5 A output, 2.5 m twisted cable already connected.
